AGCEA continues to comply with all regulations and recommendations supporting the management of the COVID-19 outbreak. Our employees’ and customers’ health and safety are our number one priority.

We currently maintain a full production schedule, while complying with CDC and state requirements. If the outbreak affects our ability to continue production, we will, of course, communicate with all our customers and employees and provide updates based on the then-current business conditions.

We continue to adjust accordingly to changes regarding the pandemic. Since the onset of COVID-19, we have taken the necessary steps to protect the health and wellbeing of our workforce while maintaining production schedules. Some of the actions we have taken as a response are:

  • Taking immediate steps to stop business travel
  • Facilitating frequent sanitization throughout the plant
  • Staggering schedules and breaks to ensure social distancing for essential employees
  • Instituted work from home opportunities for those whose positions permit
  • Expanded leave policies by providing company-paid time off while employees are quarantined with (or exposed to) COVID and providing paid days for recovering from vaccine side effects. This time off does not require that employees use their own PTO

Currently, over 80% of our employees are vaccinated. While masking and vaccinations are not required, all AGCEA employees and visitors may be asked to mask indoors as a response to internal or external fluctuations.
